Bonus content

In the Bonus Content, I will walk you through two exciting lessons: arranging your flowers in a vessel using a pin frog (available here - not an affiliate link), and creating a hand-held bouquet. I will discuss the visual weight of objects, leading lines, varying planes, and the Fibonacci sequence in design as well as other tips.

Supplies needed: For the arrangement you will want a pin frog and a vessel. For the bouquet you need waxed floral tape.

Results: Results will vary.

Exemplars from those who have taken the course

Here it is, my final arrangement featuring just a small selection (really) of the flowers and ferns created with the guidance and support of Amity at #florabeane and her #pureromancestudioflorabeane course. Every piece started life as either white or green doublette. I immersed myself into this course, gaining confidence to freehand cut and working with watercolour and alcohol inks. Whilst not perfect, this is the first crepe paper sculpture I’ve made and I can truly say I’m beyond joy with the results. I just wish I had a big enough photo backing board to be able to take a more professional photo! “A Flower Aldora Sparrow Have you ever heard of a flower that never needs water soil or sunshine? A flower that stays in full bloom Through summer and winter Through good times and bad A flower that rarely gets smaller growing endlessly A few lost petals A little droop but without a doubt it will always regrow into something more beautiful I have one of those I call it Love” #pureromancestudioflorabeane #lovestudioflorabeane #aldorasparrow #crepepaperflowers

|Final Arrangement| Following on from my post about the changing of seasons, thought I'd have a bit of fun with my final arrangement in the #pureromancestudioflorabeane course. Pic 1 I tried to achieve Autumn hues and the appearance of wilting foliage, fruit and a fallen Poppy. Pic 2 I wanted the centre Poppy to look like it's past its prime with droopy petals, fruit, dried foliage and a fallen Poppy. Thanks so much @florabeane for taking me on this journey and opening my eyes to a fantastical world of flower making, which is reflective in these two pictures because prior to this course, I could never have dreamt of such a deep colour pallette or even putting an arrangement together. Moving on fearlessly, hope you all do the same . . . #pureromancestudioflorabeane #fall #autumn #mood #floristic #slowfloralstyle #myaesthetic #artofinstagram #florabeane #papernotpicked #paperpoppies #floraldecor #flowerarrangement #black_tree_designs #finepaperbotanicals #capetownflorist #capetownpaperartist #weddinginspiration #capetownwedding #newseason #awesomeautumn #myfloralfantasy
